Hi guys,
I have imported a model from Mecabricks into Blender 2.80 (advanced plugin). Then, animated some elements, however the scratches/fingerprints are not traveling with the objects. I have looked around and I guess it has something to do with the nodes in the material that are generated by the plugin? I have also modelled a part, unwrapped it and am trying to apply a Mecabricks material, which works but also not moving with animation.
I know I have read about this somewhere before but can't seem to find it.
Any help would be helpfull : )
Make sure that each part is parented to a bone, do not do it with the armature modifier, as it effects the scratch/fingerprint textures (I know that as it happened to my villager news 3d lego animation I did)
Thanks for the tip, CitrineYT. As my objects are not rigged could I simply parent to an empty?
hmmm, im not sure, maybe try that
Hmm still not working. There used to be this option to 'link texture to meshes' is that what I'm missing?
Any other ideas? I still can't get the textures to stay put.
