How do you render?
IzakDaYak started this discussion in Help and Tips

Hello there, I am new here to mecabricks. So I don't know a lot. I was wondering how do you render things in the workshop? Also when you render it in the workshop is there still the fingerprints and scratches and stuff that makes it more realistic? Also how do you get good lighting? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks!

Hello, to render using the online rendering mode, simply select "3D Rendering" in the drop down menu in the top left of the workshop. Default mode is "Design". Once you enter the mode, you have all the options in the right hand side of the screen. Fingerprints, wear and tears or deformation options are all available in this mode.

All the latest images I posted in my flickr account have been made using this mode.

Thank you very much for the answer! Also may I ask 2 more questions? How do I get rid of the water mark, and how come sometimes it won't let me render the image if I have on HD minifigures and use materials? Also how come sometimes the option to render does not work.

@Shipmaster https://www.mecabricks.com/en/forum/topic/1681
Please post in an appropriate thread or crate a new one.

I can't seem to be able to add a background image

never mind, i figured it out. Thanks for all youve done!

officials may have to ready to tutorial or videos..

How do you set background when you are rendering because when I insert an image it doesn't show up.

@HPGuy-

Did you check the box next to Background? That's tripped me up before. Also, make sure you've toggled on camera view.

I keep getting an error message that says "only one render allowed at a time per user", but I can find no notifications that I have another render. Could you please clear this up? Thanks!

Check your "Projects" panel...

Projects tab is empty

I really don't know what the problem is, but it's been like this for three days now

Well, it worked for one render, but now it's back to the error message

The Alert number is E1035
Also of note, the render I made earlier today is not saved under "Projects"
