Ldraw Import Orientation Issues
calebmhartshorn started this discussion in Bug Reporting

I'm working on a model in Stud.io and using Mecabricks for rendering, but upon importing my model (I tried both .io and .ldraw files) I have the following issues:

Part 36840 & 36841 - Upside down and backwards, I also can't seem to easily fix them manually?

Part 30375 - Same thing but easy to manually fix

Part 60934 - Missing. I know you're busy and have tons of bricks to add but if you could add this one or let me know how to myself, that'd be great. Awesome software and rendering service, I'd love to help 😃

Hi,

I've fixed 36840, 36841 and 30375 in the LDraw importer.
We did not enter any conversion data for these parts yet before your request. That's why they were upside down.

For any future requests: use https://mecabricks.com/en/forum/topic/235

If a part is missing like 60934, use https://mecabricks.com/en/forum/topic/50
There's indeed a long never ending queue and 60934 doesn't seem easy to model if you haven't done any modelling before.
You can ask Scrubs what you can do to help out.
