Making Gizmo Trackball Rotation Optional (please!)

Please don't get me wrong, @Scrubs - I really love to see improvements being done to the workshop.

But... could you maybe make the central gizmo trackball-thing (for both rotation and transform mode) optional (e.g. checkbox next to the transform grid size)? About half of the time when I try to rotate a part from a steep angle, instead of rotating around the X/Y/Z axis, it thinks I'm clicking on the (pretty large) gizmo trackball and rotates my part in fancy ways. This gets really annoying if several groups are selected because they have to be manually reselected every single time. I have been working for 20 minutes and rage-quit the workshop after about 30 misrotated multigroups, and I'm really done for now.

Also, what happened to the really useful transform grid size symbols? I find myself often switching from Medium to Small transform grid size and vice versa, and the icons where faster to click than having to open the new drop-down menu every single time I want to change the transform grid size. Maybe we could get them back (or both symbols and dropdown menue at least 😕 )?

As I said, I welcome improvements, but but the UI kind of misses some of the old usability in my opinion.

Use the keyboard shortcut instead of the buttons for the grid. Also remember that the ESC key resets the gizmo transform without deselecting.

I reworked the picking objects for the rotate gizmo, it shall make it harder to do a mistake now.
