Selling custom Lego mocs?
miniAmputee started this discussion in Community

Hello and happy weekend!

I was curious, is it possible to create custom digital mocs and then sell the building instructions? I have read that technically it's okay as long as the Lego logo isn't used, but I wonder if that means the Lego red and yellow brand name logo, or if that includes the Lego name on the individual studs of a model (like in a render of the moc)?

Has anyone ventured into selling their mocs? Is there a special website or area where it's common to do this sort of thing?

Thanks for any help/advice. I appreciate all the hard work that Mecabricks does for us Lego fans 😃

For a LEGO group point of view, that is the brand logo (red white yellow one) that you shall not use under any circumstances to avoid misleading people in thinking that it is an official LEGO product.
For the logo on studs I don't think that it is an issue at all as you are not manufacturing counterfeit bricks but you show that you use official elements to make your moc.
