Render Mode Overflowing into Design Mode
FinnRoberts started this discussion in Bug Reporting

I'm finding that if I attempt to set up a scene in the render mode with a background image and I use the "trackball" orbit to set my model at an angle, that the render mode:
A) loses its bounding box
😎 carries over into Design mode such that if I switch back to design mode, the toolbars are gone and the background image is still visible
C) returning from that to the render mode keeps the model in the "studio" lighting mode with visible edges rather than the HDRI
D) eventually crashes the program and the model disappears from view

I believe this has only been happening when I switch to trackball but it may also be happeneing even if I stay in turntable. For details, the model is <=1500 parts. This is also without any custom lighting.

Thank you!

Thanks for the report. The list is a bit scary 😛
Don't know if it is feasible but having a video of your screen to highlight all of these issues would be very very helpful.

Of course, will do. It stopped happeneing so maybe the issue was on my end but if it pops up again, I'll make a video.
