Render Settings Blender 3d
Garbb started this discussion in Model Export and Render

Hi!
What settings do you use for rending in Blender 3d? What are the optimal settings?

I get an image with white and sometimes red dots. Tried to apply different render settings and light but the problem still remains.

I use Blender Advanced to import models into Blender

Hello,

The first thing I can notice on your image is that you scaled the model after import. If you do so, the materials will be broken. They are designed so that 1 Blender unit equals 1mm. Scale of the model shall remain 1.00 and instead of scaling it down, simply move the camera further away.

If you use the settings provided in the template.blend file, you shall not have these fireflies.
The easiest and good looking way to light your scene is to use an HDR environment map. This is also all set up for you in the template.blend file provided. You just have to load your file and enjoy 😃

One last thing, the template file also includes settings for the denoiser (Bender >= 2.79). This is very powerful to make a noise free-ish image without high samples.
