Hi i discovered some videos or renders that doesnt attribute mecabricks for the bricks meshes or shaders, that they are using like this popular lego animations channel https://www.youtube.com/user/Dino5500 i mean they are probably getting money from this and i think they can recognize the help of this awesome site
what do you think
Just one question. Is there any evidence of him using Lego parts from Mecabricks?
Yeah first the lego hands and some pieces like lego series 18 ballons hairs,etc i am sure that he are using things from mecabricks in his last videos
Why don't you ask him if he uses Mecabricks? And is there actually some rule you need to post it was done with Mecabricks? Obviously he wasn't using the render farm.
I actually do it (ask him if he uses mecabricks) but he doesnt give me an answer in the rule part yeah i think i probably was a bit hasty, but i think he is probably using mecabricks and I am very convinced of this
Just had a very quick look yesterday. I think he may use a mix of both. I clearly recognised some of my parts.
I watched the videos yesterday and I'm pretty sure that some parts are not, while other parts are.
There's no rule that if you use Mecabricks, you need to give credits. It's always nice when you do so.
One of the rules is to not use them for commercial projects. If it is monetized with advertising on youtube it kinda goes against what users agreed.
Where are the rules again? I'd like to read through them.
Perhaps it may be required to put the rules in a more visible place. I can't find them either.
Maybe Mecabricks should have an additional page labeled "About"?
The first time you want to export, you have a little pop up and you have to tick the checkbox to agree.
To be clear, does this mean any use of Mecabricks in commercial projects is prohibited?
Maybe you could at least post these somewhere in the forum where we can reference it... Just to make sure people like me don't click the checkbox and move on without actually reading anything 😛 (I really should have, I know, but I didn't)
How about an About page for Mecabricks? This would be very helpful for a more "in-depth" explanation of the terms, privacy, usage, etc.
@ArmoredBricks I didn't either, unfortunately. 😛
I don't even remember it! 😂
