.LDR / .IO importer status
Davdup started this discussion in Suggestions and Ideas

Hi!
I am regularly testing the brand new ldr/io importer, and it's improving regularly, but I understand it's a huge work to set up the conversion data for all the parts... Any way we can help?
Do not hesitate to PM me if so!
Best regards, and keep up the good work!

Hi! Sealund and I are still working on entering conversion data. I'm not sure how many % is done at the moment, but there's still a lot to do. If you know how to deal with mathematical rotations and translations, then you can help us out entering conversion data. Ask Scrubs. 😃 Are you waiting for some bricks to import correctly, don't hesitate to request them: https://mecabricks.com/en/forum/topic/235. There's no queue at all at this moment, so if you do request, they will be immediately done. 😉
I'm looking forward to see your builds made in LDraw on Mecabricks! 😃

I'm currently working on the plates categories, but as Sim says, there alot left to be done! 😃 Would be great with more help! 😉

Hi! I am not really used to that, but I guess my engineer background could be of some use for once! 😃 I've got quite a lot of parts missing or rotated incorrectly in the project I'm currently working on... If you have some kind of example or howto for what needs to be done perhaps I could help you for a few parts! Do not hesitate to contact me if so...
I'll try to make a list of some parts I would need and post them in the forum also...
Cheers

I'll forward you the message I sent them and give you access to UI tomorrow.

If you have further questions or need advice on something, PM me. 😉
You can start with category "Plates - Baseplates". That's the easiest category left to get started. 😉

@Davdup I gave you access to work on conversion data.
When I add new pieces, I update the LDD table but not LDraw. Up to you guys to do it.

That's great!! You can count on me!
