Hello! I was rendering a minifigure of a lego kingdoms king, and the crown element seems to render in the color white despite the fact it is supposed to be metalic gold. I couldn't find the piece on Brickset, but I believe in the Mecabricks database its reference is 71015 royal crown. I tried three different lighting options and every time it came out white. Wondering if the piece is somehow incomplete? Now however I'm noticing it may be doing it with other metallic items as well...
Any advice?
yes same with mr gold and iron man i think that only its in decorated pieces
It seems to work as expected. Here is a quick render with all chrome materials:
Metal reflects the environment a bit like a mirror with a light tint. So if it is completely white around - which never happens in real life, it is likely that it will all look very similar.
Strange. I was doing it with no background, so it wasn't reflecting white. I will try again now.
When you said chrome materials, did you mean metallic?
EDIT: I tried rendering it again, still white. I would post an image here, I don't know how. How do you post an image here? Copy and paste doesn't work, neither does dragging the file.
No background doesn't mean it is not reflecting... The environment map is used for reflection.
You can use imgur and paste the bbcode here.
Hmm. It used to work, as you can see on the legs of my sigfig. The armor on it now renders white, it used to render silver. I don't use imgur, I guess i won't be able to put it here. Could I put an image on a model for this topic?
imgur is free and you don't need any account. Just drag and drop your image file and then copy the bbcode.

It's supposed to be metal gold.
Are you sure that you don't have 2 of the same piece on the top of each other?
I just checked. It is only one piece, not stacked (although that has happened to me before) But you'll also notice the armor on the legs is white as well.

You need to make your model public otherwise I cannot do anything.

It's public now. Here is the link: https://www.mecabricks.com/en/models/LGVjK7Mnjnz
the picture of mr gold torso is the error that i got
There were two different bugs here. They are fixed.
@ArmoredBricks Please next time, try to use the Mecabricks colour names and ID. You mentioned "metalic gold" and I assumed incorrectly that you were talking about "Metalized Gold" 310 which is part of the Chrome category. However after opening your model it appeared that you used "Gold Ink" 299 in the Metal category.
Okay, sorry about that. I'll remember next time! Thank you for fixing it.
