Explore folder on own library using iPad
Zdav started this discussion in Bug Reporting

Hi scrubs,

Congratulations for all the work you do on your website, i started using mecabricks workshop on my iPad since last year and it works fine.

However i have à little bug on my own library ( website side , not workshop)
It’s not possible to browse folders with my tablet, so i can’t enter folder to delete old versions of my creations.

It is just a detail to improve your website for tablets users

Best regards

This is not only a problem on iPad, have the same "bug" on my Samsung tablet/phone. To enter the folders you need to double click, and double-click on a Android unit means zoom in/out so there is no way to open the folders. 😃

But here's a spin-off from this bug. To open a folder in your own library you have to double click the folder. But when you open/import a model in the workshop you only need a single-click on a folder to open it. I would suggest a change to use single-click to open a folder in the user library as well, to solve the first bug, if it's possible?

I've experienced this myself, and think it's a fairly urgent issue, as the workshop is now mobile friendly.

I like Sealund's idea. Perhaps a touch-hold, then an options menu beside the selected folder would work.

Hello,
This page is probably the oldest of Mecabricks. I don't want to touch it too much as it is unlikely that it will survive 2018 but I have an idea I can try tonight. Hopefully it will be enough to make it work on touch screen.

This is working now. I added a quick and dirty trick to make the double tap work on models and folders for touch devices.

Thanks scrubs it’s Work fine 😉
