I was thinking of moving around in the Lego world so imagine creating any minifigure and taking possession as you roam around in any model you want. Oh and let's have every vehicle operatable. It'd be hard but it'd be awesome, right?
It's basicly the idea that LEGO Universe had. You were able to run around in properties. It's a good idea, but hard to get it done on larger models.
I'd wished for something like this since the first LDD came out. It doesn't have to be fledged out as a game like LEGO universe at all. Just a roaming floating 1sr person camera would do. No need to have a minifigure avatar.
This is something you can do in Blender (As long as the model is not too big for your computer to handle, of course!). Just tap Shift + F or go the "View" panel and find the two options labeled as "Walk Mode" and "Fly Mode". The two options are pretty self-explanatory.
