I'm a Purist...however, I don't mind custom decorations, just as long as they're on genuine LEGO parts.

Ok the halo mega construx (megablocks) are not that bad, i have three and i used to have more. Although they are not as well made they are great for display (i.e. the master chief helmet) but lego is still the best. Please dont kill me for my opinion.
