Seems that origins for parts or groups only last for the current session. If a model with origins set is reopened, all custom origins are gone.
Yes it is. This is not saved in the file for now.
That's a bit sad, but I can live with it.
I may include it later when I will update the file format for other features.
That would be really helpful for things like changing the position of flaps on a spaceship, opening car doors and the like without creating copies of a model in order to be able to easily get back to the origin.
