"Your work is available where ever you are"...

...only limited by the speed of my LAN, the facts that I have to share the internet with other members (max. 1-2 hour/s per day) and therefore can´t build as much as I want, and the reaction time of the servers which often crashs my export so I have to split them up...
I ask the risky question now - that, what I guess, will nobody instead of me and a few interest - if Mecabricks will be avaiable as an offline program some time?

I guess not, for I think because of the parts (like the limited export to avoid mesh "stealing", yeah, I guess it describes it) and the updates, but in my opinion it would be a nice addition to those here who can´t be as much online as they want, which - like I said before - aren´t too many (sadly?), but...
hm, just want to throw this in the discussion.

Export and server are 2 different things. If your export doesn't work, this is because your browser (computer) is not able to compute the output geometry. This is a very intensive operation especially if you export with logo on studs. Firefox is much better than Chrome to export big models.

As for a desktop version of it, my knowledge on the subject is close to zero. Besides, the whole concept of Mecabricks is based on the fact that everything is available to everybody right now. Any part updates, any code updates is available to everybody as soon as it is put online without the need for users to do anything whatsoever. On the other hand, a working internet access is required.

Maybe one day there will be a browser offline version but I really doubt about it. The part library is somewhere between 500MB and 1GB so it doesn't look like an option.
