Hello,
I recently decided to upload some of my (very, very old) Lego stop-motion animations on my YouTube page (from when I was in my teenager years), and I was just curious if anyone else on here has ever made any stop-motion animations out of their legos (or still do), and if so, maybe we could help spread our love for Legos by sharing our YouTube channels/video links for people to view and enjoy?
My channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTnN3QFpRRFJGqeC29NcaBQ
If you're on YouTube and you enjoy any of my videos/find them entertaining, feel free to share, like (and maybe subscribe) and help spread the word if you think someone you know would enjoy them too.
(WARNING: During my teenager days, I was obsessed with using stage blood, and so my animations have a bit of Lego/toy violence, so if you don't like or want to see that, then feel free to not click on the videos haha...and I will say that there may have been a few Legos that were harmed during the filming of some of the scenes 😛 )
My bro (MalMan35) and I have a stop motion website and channel. Here is the links to both...http://mem3500films.ml ------- https://m.youtube.com/channel/UC-HU--yg0K7uj-YfsuEYacA . He is the animator, I am the story writer ( not all the vids) and the set designer/model maker.
I made a few stop motion films a while back. I'll try to get them uploaded. 😆
I sort of am. It's been a while, and I am "working" on the original MacGyver theme. I think I may try animating part of it with Blender, just to see what it'll be like.
I took the better ones and stuck them into one video. These are pretty old. I made them about 6-7 years ago in windows movie maker. 😛

@Azogthedefiler Nice job! Wow all those Minifigs in you video are from sets that I have. 😃 Elite police was awesome.
I liked how you made the gun look like it was shooting with Legos. The Secret Entrance was a good set (as in movie set, like in a studio).
@Gideon26 Ah, very cool. And nice videos too! I especially enjoyed your Lringles video; the Minifigure design of that carton character is perfect 😄
@AzogTheDefiler Very nice! Your video reminds me of when I started out with my first animations too 😃
I mostly do CGI but every once in awhile I'll play around with some stop motion.

Have you guys seen The Magic Portal? It's one of the originals!!
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/jde4qHbCtSg?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>wow, that embedding really didn't work, sorry 😦
I'm not a stop mo animator but I did used to work at Aardman and went on to animate on The Lego Movie, helped set up the stop motion animation style. Ha, always too afraid to try stop motion, the idea of fully working straight ahead scares the bejayziz out of me!
so looking good, everybody, grand jobs all round
@Hoooooof I'll pm you with the link you need to add a YouTube video to your post.
But no i haven't seen that video before. It sure is old!
Whoa Aardman and The LEGO Movie!? That's awesome! Now I wonder if I could find you in the credits....
thanks to Azog, here's a better FORMATTED link:
