Google Nix Collection now completely free!

I read in a previous post here that the Google Nix collection was really great but expensive (I think it was in one of zanna's tutorials). Well I'm sure some of you may already know but they are now completely free! I thought I would just let everyone here know so they can make good use of these awesome tools. For those who are wondering you can download them here. https://www.google.com/nikcollection/

Yep i downloaded it a while ago and I use the add on for photoshop. There are great filters.

I've been using these for my photography as standalone. (I don't want to buy Photoshop yet. 😛) They're really handy, but when you're starting out using it, I recommend reading this first: https://edknepleyphoto.com/2013/06/15/using-the-nik-collection-in-a-stand-alone-mode/

Thanks for the link Masman8765. I too have to use them standalone. 😛 I don't plan on buying photoshop though cause GIMP is enough for me. It is just too bad that the nix collection doesn't work in gimp.

P.S. I just recently realized how similar our user names are.

😝 😄

No problem! For me, (other than using the Nik Collection) I like CyberLink PhotoDirector 7. It's got a lot of nice features. And you can get it for free: http://net-load.com/giveaway-cyberlink-photodirector-7-deluxe-for-win-and-mac-free/ Don't worry, it's official. 😉 It would be nice wouldn't it? I'm really glad they work as standalone though. 😃

Oh yes, I've noticed that before as well. 😛
