Question about the MECABRICKS Palette
Qwerty7556 started this discussion in Help and Tips

I was just wondering: how closely do the MECABRICKS colors currently in use match up with the color chart released by LEGO? I've noticed in the past that, per se, the dark red appears too purple in comparison with it, etc. Additionally, how much have the colors been updated for the new workshop version (aside from just orange)?
The official palette can be seen here 😎

I guess asking things during Scrubs' vacations is a bad idea. 😛 (hopefully this post will bring this thread back to "unread" status 😛 )

Colors may vary here on Mecabricks. It's chosen closely to the original colors (and some may be the original colors) to look good in the Mecabricks interface.

And I'll be again from tomorrow evening 😛

The chart you gave is averagely official. I have other documents with more precise numerical values. Most of them on Mecabricks (see link to MB colours above) are close enough or exactly the same (some legacy ones that are 5 years old cannot really be changed as it would mean a massive amount of work to correct 1000s of decorations).

Besides, in the workshop, what you see is a combination of the base colour value + lighting.

Ah, okay. That makes sense. 😛 Thank you!
