Workshop isn't working in Safari
Gideon26 started this discussion in General Discussion

Hi I was just wanting to know if anybody else had the same problem as me. I have recently (like the last month or so) not been able to build in the Workshop, because when I go there all it shows is a blank grey screen. I am not sure if its a problem with my computer or if others are experiencing it too?
If there is a fix please share and if not I can use Google Chrome. 😃 (I use Safari as my main browser but I use Chrome once in a while.) Thanks!

This had been happening to me (on Chrome), but it was fixed when I reloaded the page. Not sure if it's the same issue (or if that fix will work 😛 ) but who knows?

I tried, but it doesn't work. 😕 For me the Workshop works perfectly on Chrome. Thanks anyway! 😃

It is working fine for me with Safari 9 on MacOs 10.10

I have Safari 9.1.3 on MacOS 10.11.6 , so I guess its just me. 😛

I won't be able to try until I update MacOs.

OK. 😃

I have the same problem too, with the same versions of Gideon26 of Safari and OSX,
but I forgot to post here the problem 😛

I will probably update to 10.12 in a few months.
I am also updating the 3D framework of Mecabricks to a new version so it might solve this issue.
Can you open the Safari console and copy and paste here in a code tag what is written there?

Thanks for that.
Are you using the private browsing mode in safari?

I don't know if I am using the private browsing mode, because I don't know what it is. 😝

No Scrubs, normal mode 😉

I am having this same problem on iPad with the latest version of safari. I haven’t had any issues before on iPad, but after making a huge mosaic, whenever I go to the workshop, all I see is a grey screen.

Try to empty the cache of safari. It shall fix it.

BTW MB on Safari has worked just fine for me for over a year now, I now use Chrome, but it works just as well on Safari.

Fixed. I’m working on Classic Space models now.

It keeps saying a problem has repeatedly occured, can anyone help?

It was working 2 days ago and all the sudden Safari keeps complaining A problem repeatedly occurred. I checked the Web Console the page was holding by workshop.js file. Working fine on Firefox under Mac though. Safari version Version 15.0 (15612.1.29.41.4, 15612), Mac OS Catalina version 10.15.7.

No code change for months.
I stopped using safari a long time ago. Unlike chrome or firefox, it is not even possible to get the latest version if MacOS is not up to date. Not to mention that it is buggy and doesn’t support or follow all standards.

Understand, it must be Safari update which screws everything again. Sigh... But I am happy with Firefox! Thanks Scrubs!
