Some models can be tagged as official on Mecabricks and will appear in the Set Section of the library.
Those models will also be visible on external websites like brickset.com or bricker.info
Note that only one model per reference is allowed.

Anybody can submit models for review however there is no guarantee that they will be selected. Final decision is at the discretion of Mecabricks admins.

Submit a Model

  1. Double click on your model to open the parameters.
  2. Make your model public.
  3. Select LEGO set
  4. Enter the set reference and click on the magnifier glass to retrieve data.
  5. Enter the description of the model. It can be the official description as found on Brickset or anything else you wish to add.
  6. Save

Rules to follow

  1. All pieces shall be connected properly. Think about using the snap function.
  2. Pieces not existing in Mecabricks shall not prevent the model from looking like the complete set. Alternatively, they can be replaced by a combination of existing bricks. E.g. 1👨 brick replaced by one 1X1 brick and one 1X2 brick. Placeholder can be of the same colour as the missing part, transparent or of a distinctive colour not used in the set.
  3. Models with missing stickers can be submitted.
  4. Models with missing decorations can be submitted. However, if a set is heavily based on minifigs like Star Wars battle packs and that most decorations are missing, it is likely that it will not be approved.
  5. List of missing pieces / stickers / decorations shall be added in the description. You can also state that the model is 100% complete.
  6. Model shall be presented in a live way. E.g. a set having the minifigs posed as per the front cover of box will be selected over a model that is simply aligning the minifigs in front of the set.
  7. Preview thumbnail generated when the model is saved shall show the full set.
  8. New pieces are added everyday. Please ensure that your official sets are up to date. If it is not updated in the next 2 weeks after the parts have been made available, another more complete submission with the same reference might be selected instead.
  9. If you update a model that was not previously selected and you think that it is now ready, send a message with a link to an admin in order to start a new review process.

but how do the motors work for the trains like how do they work

@mocworkerbasmashop, they don't! It's just 3d-objects without any automatic features. You'll have to animate them to make them "work"...

When you say to "send a message to an admin", is that by this Forum or a PM? And who are the applicable admins?

Hello?

I think it can be either.

Scrubs, I'm trying to build Set No.75046, but Part No.87616 is missing in the Mecabricks part inventory, and I see no way to recreate that part without using clipping. What should I do?

yo scrubs if you get this post i need some parts for this model here https://www.mecabricks.com/en/models/kOjLOAwp2x6 and the pieces required are listed in "about" area, so i really need help here and so far not everyone is able to post parts daily so can you take care of it please? this is the link to the original set https://brickset.com/sets/7317-1/Aero-Tube-Hanger

Joshua: This isn't the forum for that. The forum is specifically titled 'Official LEGO Set Rules', not 'Part Requests'

i know but i been trying to get ahold of scrubs to fix the problem as quickly as possible and im getting really upset about it. i cannot post the previous post on a diffrent forum because it would be called spamming

Well, if you're getting really upset about it, then you model the parts you need it.
Because Scrubs can't take care of your requests. The whole world isn't revolved around you. Scrubs runs this whole website, and you expect that to be at the top of his list of priorities?

im not that skilled at making lego parts on 3d modeling dude

Then stop complaining about it.

@Lax for your original question, you can use clipping if there is no other way of constructing it and it still keeps the parts to a manageable level.
