Question About Screenshots
Gideon26 started this discussion in General Discussion

Hi,
I was wanting to know how you can take a screenshot of your model in the workshop with out the base/ground in the picture?
I want to add that I think this place is great, and Scrubs I am awed at how you can make all these bricks in Blender,
I started a tutorial for Blender but it was too confusing, So I know how much work you have to make the parts.

There's no fast way to do that unless you know how to deal with compressed JS code.
What most of the people do, is download the model by exporting it to make renders of it. And when you're rendering stuff, you have the freedom to do whatever you want to make the best picture. There's a good Blender template available: http://mecabricks.com/en/forum/topic/72

Thanks. I kind of get overwhelmed with Blender so I will just stick to editing the picture in Preview. 😉 Thank you for the advice.

Hello,
You can also disable the ground grid in the toolbar on the top. Then press P or click on the camera icon of the left toolbar to take a screenshot with a transparent background.

Like sim mentioned the script for Blender I made plus the video tutorial makes it very simple to render great stuff 😃

Ok, Thank you. Now I am like why didn't I see that. 😜
