I've tried all different sizes and complexities of models to export from chrome. The browser gives a quick flash and then comes up with an Aw, Snap error page. When exporting from Firefox it does seem to work. What difference could cause this problem? It seems others are not having this issue with chrome.
Hello, I might need to have a look into that at some stage. It is not just you as quite a few people reported having issues now with Chrome. In the latest version, it seems that something has changed and it is getting harder to export something without crashing it. Firefox does the export job pretty well (but is way slower to do stuff in the workshop). It is a bit of an annoying one which I am not too sure how to solve.
Thank you very much for a the reply. I felt a little like I was the only one experiencing that issue because I couldn't find anyone else reporting the issue. Although, I only did a cursory search. I'll be excited when that issue can be ironed out but will work around it in the meantime. I have the say that the workshop is quite powerful, though missing some bricks, and I can't believe how well it handles the models. My LDD is at the point where it's crashing because the intense size and brick count of the models. Keep up the great work!
I'm having that problem too today. I'm trying Firefox right now, so hopefully that'll work...
Yep, it worked. 😃
It's been a while since I've checked as I've been busy with things but I just successfully exported from Chrome today with no issue. How awesome! I'm staggered at how amazing this site is and all the work that's put into it. The Rendering pipeline is phenomenal! It's so very cool to see the creations I don't have the real pieces to build in such amazing quality it's as if they were on display in my house.
