There were no Star Wars sets and Lego Technic wasn't invented yet. What sets did you play with in your childhood? I remember these:

605-2: Taxi, http://brickset.com/sets/605-2/Taxi, http://www.mecabricks.com/en/models/P7l2BDoRv0N (1971)
310-3: Tugboat, http://brickset.com/sets/310-3/Tugboat (1973)
357-1: Legoland Fire House, http://brickset.com/sets/357-1/Legoland-Fire-House (1973)
611-1: Police Car, http://brickset.com/sets/611-1 (1973)

Hello,

I think I am from the generation after 😜 I never had any of these sets and as far as I remember I only had minifigs with the shape of today.
Actually I don't exactly remember which one was my very first set but the one I was looking forward to get the most was 6394: Metro Park & Service Tower. It is still in the LEGO box at my parents...

I'm too young
my first set was 7144-1: Slave I

yeah, I agree scrubs the set really looks cool!

But like Stas, i'm too young also, and my first set was the STAR WARS At-Ap set 75043 and now i'm trying to ask my parents for a Droid gunship 75042.
