So you would you prefer to have the group container deleted if it is empty?

I think it doesn't make sense to leave an empty group. For what? If it's empty, it actually can't even be called a group. I noticed models full of empty groups - I'm not quite sure, if it's because of that, though.

It was just to make sure I understood. It makes sense anyway.

I don't insist on that - just my two cents worth. There might be reasons against this I haven't thought of yet. In general I think: before any change to a complex system it should be made sure that the problem it's supposed to resolve was fully understood and what implications a certain change might have overall.
