I know the colors & related numbers come directly from the Lego Color Palette. But I was wondering if you could put up a page similar to the Parts Library? Where we could see what colors are in the Library, the Name, Number and a Sample of the color.
Similar to the "Colours" area in the Workshop, but with a complete list all on one page.
I'm only asking because I recently was looking for Flat Silver #179. I had to go thru all of the pages of the "Colours" area, double checking that I had the correct number, only to find that #179 doesn't exist, so I just picked a similar Silver color (#131). It's not critical to me if the colors are perfect (#131 vs #179), but for others it may matter.
Also in the Colour area, could you make it so that we could type in the color number, and it finds the color associated with that number?
Cheers,
Bill
You can fin the list of colours in the colour chart that I made (PDF documents) http://www.mecabricks.com/docs/colour_chart.pdf
For your other request, I never really thought about that. Integration in the workshop would have to be done carefully to not steal too much space from the Groups and Properties palettes.
What about just having the area where the number comes up for the color, a field that we could type in, and have the color come up?
If that is possible it wouldn't need to take any more room.
the color area disappeared on my chrome book
