Can a 3D image of a part be imported here from another site?

Some old parts missing from MecaBricks catalog can be found on bricklink as 3D images. I don't know nothing about 3D and CAD and so on, so I am wondering if something like this: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=4524&tab=V can be imported here or not...

Unfortunately, I don't think so..! But I'm not the expert 😛

Bricklink is simply using a WebGL reader for LDraw parts. Mecabricks is based on a different part library. Of course there is always a way to convert parts from one format to another (LDD, Mecabricks, LDraw) but it takes lots of work to cleanup. Besides, LDraw is using a different measurement system and old parts are not very accurate. I prefere to redesign them properly as most of the time it takes less time.

Oh, well. It was too good to be true 😃 thanks Scrubs
