How to create/add missing stickers to the library?
Hogi started this discussion in Official LEGO® Sets and Parts

Hi Scrubs,

I have some questions regarding stickers and want to help out to make missing ones:
How can we create stickers?
In what format do we have to create them? PNG or vector format files?
What colors can we use there? Same colors as for the bricks?
Where do we have to send them to?

Hello,
You can find most answer to your questions here http://www.mecabricks.com/en/forum/topic/128
Looking forward to seeing your files 😉

I know this thread, but the workflow gerkenz described is for decorations on one existing part. In my understanding we can have decorations on lego parts and stickers. You use UV mapping for decorations but stickers are placed like parts, so no uv mapping is needed, right? For example see the big sticker on this set http://brickset.com/sets/6362-1 So I can't use your existing UV mapping files for a sticker like this to place it on three 4x1 bricks. How did you create the library sticker 8652stk2?

For stickers that are placed across multiple parts, it is a tricky one. The current solution is to create them as separate parts with a UV map. See files stk1.png for example in the folder.
