Workshop occassionally becomes unresponsive when adding parts
wlange started this discussion in Bug Reporting

In this case a part is being looked up forever (wait cursor), but never added to the scene. The only way to continue is to refresh the browser tab or close it. If you don't save frequently, your work is gone to nirvana.

It frequently happened to me too the last few days.

Hello,

Originally I added a feature that prevents the user to perform any actions while a part is loading to avoid weird behaviour. However if for whatever reason the request doesn't reach or come back from the server the workshop remains in this blocked state. I also noticed myself this annoying issue. So as an easy fix, I won't block the user when a part is loading and we will see how it goes.

Don't forget the "Recover Autosave" feature - Reload the browser and select it in the file menu. It will reload your model as it was even if it has never been saved before.
