Minifig Arms

Hi, I would like to know your opinion about the mesh of the minifig arm.

I would recomend to ad some ringcuts on the elbow because I think it's a little to harsch and should be more beveled.

What do you think? 😃

Hello,

Are you talking about the old or the new minifig arm mesh? New one is available on all upper part assemblies of the part library - Old one is available through older models (e.g. minifig) saved before the last version was introduced.

If I go back and re-save all my old models with minifigs, will it automatically update the arms?

Hmm...I will have a look. I saw it on renders month ago and see it on the minifigs I choose lately. I will have a look at a new created minifig.
I thought changing a part will exchange them in all builds in the library because it's a reference only. But if we do have 2 different "arms" that could lead into different builds.

<EDIT> Yes. the new arms are ok! predefined minifigs do have the old arms which shoudn't be used anymore I think.

I couldn't replace the arms like for like as the position of the hand is different compared to the part origin (shoulder pivot). If I would have done that, all the old models using these parts (e.g. minifigs) would have the hands not correctly positionned.

ah ok, I see. Good to know. 😃 thanks
