Until I create an official page in the Parts section, please request missing parts here.

I will try to add them quickly enough to the library. Alternatively, you are welcome to model them in your favourite CAD software and send them to me. See this post.

@harrycammie man I don't want to offend you but scrubs and me told you several time that it's not so simple as you think
It requires the time and resources
If you you want to help read about 3D modeling any topic on our forum about adding parts

I had the impress someone was giving me orders lol

Please scrubs work on the ninjago pieces now
I don't think it is the most polite way to ask even with a Please in front.

@Scrubs I was calm 😄

Hello,

One last time - I think that you have seen all the requests that have been made from people before yours. The list is huge and I am not going to be able to do all of the them right now for different reasons. Besides, it is always easier to allocate time to people that have proven that they are interested in Mecabricks. For example by publishing good models, renders, etc. I am not going to spend hours of my time for someone who is going to come once and leave (which is maybe not your case but I don't know for now).

Think in terms of work required now. Lets say one of your complex parts will require about 5 hours of work at an hourly rate of lets say $30 USD. Your part is going to cost $150 USD. Are you ready to pay for it? If yes, let me know and I will start soon! Otherwise you will have to wait for a bit until someone or myself is ready to do it for free.

The other option is that you can make the parts yourself and I'll be happy to check/approve/add them to the library.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I won't make your parts, I'm just saying that it will take some time. For example, I have the Temple or Airjitzu still in a box. So when I will have the time to open/build it, you will probably see some of the ninjago parts you want coming to Mecabricks.

To finish, I think that it is not a good idea to get unkind with the users like wlange, stas, zanna, umbramanis and a bunch of others (actually everybody here in general) as they are nice enough to help me add heaps of decorations to mecabricks.

Thank you

One note from my side. I currently don't have the skill to model a complex new part. But I want to learn and would like to start with a simple one, like a "copy paste" job to take an existing one and modify it to a new/missing one. For example we already have the 16m axle and the 32m axle is missing. But I simply don't have a clue how to work on this part. Is there a possibility to get the blender model data for existing parts, modify them and send them to you for review/add/support? A little tutorial would be great (if this possibility exists).

I also start to vectorize some old classic minifig upper parts and it took hours for me to make some progress. Never vectorized images so far. I'm really asthonished about the speed stas is adding decorations. A tutorial how you do this and what tools and methods you are using would be helpful to others.

This is no complaint. Just an idea. You guys do a remarkable good job and I really appreciate your hard work!!!

No worries Hogi, it wasn't directed at you anyway 😉
I can only agree with your ideas. I know that modeling is quite demanding and not everybody is interested to learn. It would be kinda hard to make a single tutorial about it as it is a very wide subject but I could redirected you to external resources that could be a starting point.

@scrubs: I'd be interested in any links to the same resources that you send toward Hogi. Whether or not I have the skills and time to model pieces remains an open question. And many times, as with decorations, I imagine that I need a physical copy of the part in my possession, which I most often will not have. But to the extent that I am able to assist, I would be happy to try. Thanks.

I'm interested in modelling missing parts as well. I have some experience with 3d apps, but am trying to get to grips with Blender. Its a bit different to what I am used to but I'm willing to give it a go.

Would it be possible to this 4x4 windscreen modeled? http://bricks.argz.com/part/47758

I will probably create a new forum section dedicated to part/decoration creation where we could share information about how we do.

@Scrubs: Something that may be useful would be a part of the website where a user could request a part, and if a user or you were going to make it, they would mark it as being created. That would be nice but may not be necessary. Also, if there are any parts that are non mini-figure you need help with making I could try to do so again, if you could help me figure out how to correctly finish one in blender.

but scrubs I don't have any money

plus sorry for being unkind

Hey, I've been learning a little more about Blender, and I now feel comfortable modeling part http://rebrickable.com/parts/30191 "stretcher holder" myself. (I had requested it a little while ago) I just wanted to make sure no one else was working on it before I started. Thanks!

I don't really need the following parts, but the LDD importer told there are not in library. So I put the IDs here not to forget them and for one day when you're looking for some part to model 😉
